Competition Overview

Due to the phenomenal success of our SkillsBuild Challenge in 2021, Exit Entry in partnership with IBM have launched a SkillsBuild Challenge for students of DEIS post primary schools in Ireland, which will take place from March 2022 until May 2022.

The SkillsBuild Challenge aims to promote learning in the Creative Arts through the use of technology. This will be achieved through the completion of selected IBM SkillsBuild Badges and activities. We want to introduce DEIS Post Primary students to this emerging industry and present them with the potential third level and career opportunities within this sector.

By completing the Basic Principles of Design badge and one other activity, students will be granted 1 entry into the competition. From the prizes up for grabs there will be a total of 255 winners from the competition (1 school tour winner can bring a class of up to 35 with them).

The IBM SkillsBuild Badges and activities can be completed through the Exit Entry App, in class or independently at home by the student.
